While fossil fuel companies are not proponent's of taxing net CO2 emissions as the cornerstone of global policy to reduce emissions and stabilize and eventually reduce the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere, I think it is disingenuous to portray then as the principle obstacles. We do not even yet have environmentalists Including, (judging from this short piece) environmental educators like Mr Hernandez on board, much less the politicians.

There in recession. Factories are closing fossil fuels too expensive. Cheap Russian gas blown up by Finns/USA SFs. Actions have consequences EU. Kick us out and grow a back bone.

Do you know how much geologic scope there is for fracking in Europe? It their dependence on imported gas economic or just bad policy?

I'd say its a bod policy being sycophants to the USA.

Good economic policy to get your energy source from local distributors at a cheaper price from a gas line tap.
