Always hopeful and useful, love it! The action items of eating locally and reducing food waste are great ones. Best not to waste food, but for anything unusable, always a good reminder that it's getting easier and easier to compost. If you have a yard, great! If you don't, there are still tabletop composters, local companies (at least 3 in Chicago where I am!), and some municipal pilot programs.
we consume plastc too where it accumulates as microplastics in our fat tissue. unfortunately we convert our food into CO2 which we vent out with every breathe. but we're not as bad as what comes out ICE tail pipes. EVs have no tail pipe. Hybreds yes EVs no.
